Who Are We?
As children of immigrants, we always sought ways to support small businesses owned by immigrants in our community. However, as we grew older, we realized that we tended to stick to the businesses we had known for years, rarely exploring newer establishments. Both the South Asian community heavily relied on word-of-mouth recommendations, but there had never been a dedicated platform for discovering new businesses within our communities. Consequently, many new businesses did not receive the visibility they deserved. In order to address this issue, we embarked on a mission to create a community-based platform that would enable new businesses to market themselves, providing our users with a plethora of options to meet their needs.
Why Reet?
In Punjabi, Reet means tradition or ritual. We hope our platform will help our communities celebrate traditions and rituals by helping connect businesses with end users and host successful events.

Punjabi Dhadkan is the heart of Punjabi folk dance in the Bay Area of California. We offer bhangra, giddha (live and traditional), and Dhol classes to all ages in Hayward and Dublin. Our dance academy also provide performance services for wedding events, stage shows, and music videos. This includes bhangra, giddha, and sangeet performances. Please contact us if you would like to learn Punjab's beautiful cultural dances or are interested in making your events more colorful with one of our performances.

Learn live boliya, geet, suhaag, and ghoriyaa, as well as punjabi traditions and culture through our giddha classes. We teach students of all ages how to sing and dance in these classes.
Learn classic and new bhangra steps to your favorite songs and Dhol beats in our bhangra classes. Our experienced teachers will help you learn traditional punjabi bhangra movements while also providing you with an amazing work-out.
Learn how to play the Dhol from Ustaad Lal Sing Bhatti, a living legend. Classes provide beginners with the fundamental basics so that they can easily learn all the classic beat of Dhol.
Punjabi Dhadkan has a team of experienced dancers that can perform at any event. Entertain your guests with high-energy bhangra and giddha performances.
We provide private classes to individuals or families who would like to have a professionally choreographed performance for their event.
